Analog Journey - Travel in France

Arguably, the picture below was the first one I took in a long hiatus with a film camera (if you don't consider disposables).

During this trip to southern France, we were stopping by Nice when we decided to visit a local flea market. There, I found a guy selling camera gear for quite cheap. I found a working Canon T70 with a 35-70mm kit lens for 60 Euros, which was not that great. However, we were traveling and I thought it could be nice to take some pictures still while on the trip.

I tried purchasing the camera with my broken French (even though I technically have a B2 certificate), which led to a confusion where my "60" got mistaken for a "50". After a bit of a confusing moment, I realized I only paid 50 Euros so off I went. We stopped by a nearby camera shop to get some Kodak Gold and Portra.

The first roll of film was Kodak Gold, which created the photo above. Here are some extra snapshots from Nice + Cannes + Monaco.
